Job Description
Your mission will consist to :
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of steering gear, steering columns, and brake foundation systems using CAD software.
- Work closely with the supplier
- Analyze and optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability. Incorporate feedback from prototyping and testing phases.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including technical drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and assembly instructions.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Conduct design reviews and participate in quality assurance processes.
- Address and resolve design-related issues during the development and production phases
- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
You're made for this job if you have a :
- Diploma in industrial/ mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Level of experience 4 to 5 years within AUTOMOTIVE CAD.
- Experience with moving components (steering gear, steering column and/or brake foundation)
- CATIA v5 mandatory
- TeamCenter is good to have
- Fluent in English
- Good to have Interaction experience with supplier
