About this Role:
Wander is a growing fast-paced startup, hiring a full-time Business Operations Analyst. You will work remotely as a member of the Finance Team to support both internal and external reporting. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys thinking cross-functionally, is savvy with reporting technologies, and is both creative and analytical. You will report directly to the VP of Finance.
What You'll Do:
Evaluate, improve, and create all reporting materials, such as board and investor decks
Create a strong and meaningful storyline about our business using relevant research and data
Perform market, competition, and market portfolio research
Interface cross-functionally to properly understand and report on all business areas
Reading, analyzing, and assessing market and industry data, reports, graphs, charts, and other findings
Support investor relations and fundraising efforts
Build strong working relationships with internal team
Monitor and ensure accuracy of supporting databases
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a schedule of Monday-Friday 9-5 EST
Strong storytelling, writing , and research skills
Bachelors in Business Administration; MBA preferred
Experience at a start-up, venture capital firm, or investment group
Proficiency in understanding market research and finding data points to support arguments
Proficiency in PowerPoint with strong slide preparation experience
Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation)
Strong editing, proofreading, and project management skills with attention to detail
Have a laptop
Have internet access at home (this job is remote)
