Location: Remote

Position Overview: Ply is looking to build a pioneering BDR team who will grow into our future account executives. Our goal is to cultivate a team that works together, conveys a growth mindset, wins together, and continues to push each other to be their best. As a Business Development Representative at Ply, your responsibility will be to source a qualified pipeline that fuels our revenue engine - taking this company to Series A and beyond. No prior experience is required; however the best fit candidate will have a strong desire for a successful career in sales, ability to self-motivate, exemplify strong communication skills, is passionate about helping others, and considers themselves one of the hardest workers they know.

What you’ll do @ Ply

  • Identify, target, and engage with potential prospects within the skilled trades everyday
  • Book qualified opportunities with MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) contractors
  • Conduct outreach across various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, video messaging, and social media
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Ply's product and service offerings to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and opportunities within HubSpot

What we’ll need from you:

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound sales process
  • Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and utilizing video and social media in the sales process.
  • Prior experience with CRM tools preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to initiate meaningful conversations.
  • A willingness & passion for learning about the skilled trades
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Not afraid to dive in, take initiative, and embrace change that comes with a startup
