THINGS YOU WILL DO
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for providing product control expertise within Capital Markets Operations.
- Participate in finance working groups/project workstreams that impact Product Control processes, systems and/or inputs
- Manage the implementation of the Finance requirements regarding Global Markets and Product Control requirements
- Manage the Global Markets Finance/Product Control impacts of the new products implementation
- Perform reports and reconciliations
- Ensure process and architectures are aligned and simplified
- Partner with IT for system updates and changes
- Validate and document systems and process
- Coordinate and governance of controls used in the systems
- Drive implementation roadmap
- Standardize a process by suggesting the best practices and appropriate design
- Ensure local alignment with the global Finance programs goals
- Governance of all issues encountered during UAT run and drive timely closure of all report failures/exceptions
- Create UAT test cases for Finance/Product Control area
- Actively engage in establishing a strong relationship with other Project Workstreams and Product Control teams
- Strong ability to deal with senior management
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Strong knowledge of markets products, preferably in the role of product control (for 3-5 years).
- Knowledge of project delivery, either in full time analyst role or as line resource supporting projects delivery.
- Deliver stakeholder analysis at the request of project lead.
- Own end-to-end delivery of change initiative as assigned by project lead.
- Work closely with global line & change colleagues in analysis and documentation of user requirements as user stories.
- Re-interpret user stories in an easy to understand and relatable manner to IT for implementation.
- Working closely with line & IT draft up implementation plan for project delivery.
- Plan project change embedding into production by working closely with global line teams.
- Assist in the end users in testing and adoption of the change elements.
- Identify line’s knowledge gaps and proactively document & deliver trainings to help the line function transition to target state following the change.
- Assist by capturing post change process metrics and in timely remediation any issues ensuring successful adoption of the change.
- Complete post project closure activities viz., tracking project benefits, documenting residual elements, and assisting project leads in designing a process to run with these items after project closure.
