POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an exciting opportunity for a biostatistician to participate in advancing Natera’s Women’s Health and Organ Health product portfolio of cutting-edge diagnostic assays, while working closely with biologists and other cross-functional teams. As a Biostatistician, you will leverage your strong applied statistics background to contribute to the design, analysis, and reporting of verification and validation experiments supporting high-priority assay development projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform relevant statistical analyses (e.g., sample size, power, precision, and LoB/LoD/LoQ calculations) for studies of varying complexity.

With guidance, design and execute verification or validation studies.

Effectively convey analysis plans, methods, results, and interpretation through engaging presentations and thorough documentation.

Communicate efficiently and effectively with cross-functional collaborators and stakeholders.

Contribute to identification of study risks, communicate concerns, and present potential solutions to project teams.

Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Data Science, or equivalent with relevant experience

At least 1 year of practical experience designing and executing statistical analyses in the field of applied statistics

At least 1 year of practical experience with statistical or data analysis software such as R, SAS, JMP, or Python
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Expert applied knowledge of advanced statistical methods.
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to communicate in cross-functional teams with members of diverse technical backgrounds.
- Ability to produce high quality written documentation for varying audiences.
- Prior experience with NGS, genetics, and/or diagnostic testing a plus.
- Prior experience with product development a plus.
