We are seeking an experienced and strategic individual to join OpenTable’s Global Partnerships team as an Associate Manager. The Global Partnerships team at OpenTable is a small, impactful, fast-paced team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing strategic partnerships aligned with the company’s growth plans. The ideal candidate will be hyper-focused on implementing and managing partnerships that add strategic value to OpenTable’s consumer business. This is a role fit for an individual comfortable with both building strategy and driving execution.
Depending on candidate proximity to our San Francisco office, this will either be a fully-remote or hybrid (2 day/week in-office role). If a candidate is located in the Bay Area, they will be expected to be hybrid, all other locations will be fully-remote at this time.
In this role, you will:

Act as an account manager and day-to-day contact for one of OpenTable’s key strategic partners.

Ensure strategic alignment between the Parties to support key identified performance objectives and track their progress

Deliver operational support on key projects or priority issues identified by the Parties

Progress key initiatives in a timely manner to ensure that the Parties are achieving established strategic and operational objectives

Communicate goals and partner feedback to OpenTable executive team

Work closely with partners to enhance the existing integration and increase adoption

Become a trusted advocate for our partners internally and be the subject matter expert on our affiliate network

Maintain an experienced level of understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers
-
Manage external partner relationships to meet partnership timelines and critical metrics

Maintain a roster of partner information (proposal tracking, presentations, marketing information, partnership history, etc).

Create partner-facing strategy presentations featuring partner performance, data-driven recommendations, and growth opportunities

Evaluate proposals (internal and external) and provide recommendations based on business impact and return on investment

Support partnerships team by updating reporting dashboards and collating quarterly business reports

Deliver analyses and projects, including various types of market and industry analysis, competitive analysis, building cases, scenario planning, and pricing analysis

Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives in support of company objectives and key results

Gather, consolidate, analyze, and present operating and business data and insights to support business decisions

Define and track key performance metrics as required

Build positive relationships and collaborate with cross-functional team members across product, engineering, marketing, legal, and sales teams

Continue to grow the distribution of OpenTable’s affiliate partners on both web and mobile properties with relevant partners

Continue to grow product partnerships with relevant partners

4+ years of professional experience

2+ years of relevant experience such as strategy consulting or investment banking

Proficient in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs) and MS Office (Excel)

Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Ability to thrive in ambiguity and be highly productive in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency around delivering on goals

Exposure to or experience in consumer technology is a plus

Exposure to a range of data and analytical concepts and methodologies, including: forecasting, financial modeling, pricing analysis, market sizing, industry analysis, competitive analysis

Exposure working with product and marketing teams to develop partnerships that deliver growth, brand exposure, and benefits for users is a plus

Exposure to working with legal documents is a plus

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $77,000 - $103,000.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
