The Role

The Associate Identity and Access Management engineer will provide technical support of our Okta platform. The engineer in this position will collaborate with IT and Security teams to implement new single sign on integrations, troubleshoot or investigate authentication issues, and assist with workflow design and implementation. The position will require an individual that is a team player, self-motivated, a quick learner, resourceful, and cool under fire.

The Role

What You'll Do

Implement single sign on (SAML, OIDC, SWA) integrations for internally used applications

Assess, design, and implement automations using Okta workflows or through custom scripts

Design and implement authentication and security policies

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with user authentication, user provisioning and deprovisioning within Okta or integrated applications

Build and run custom reports

Run periodic audit of user accounts in Okta and remediate issues as needed

Create support documentation and conduct knowledge transfers to 1st level support

Support security team with incident investigations as needed

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience/certifications

1+ years of experience supporting Okta in an enterprise environment

Experience working with and using API’s for scripting, integrations, automations

Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Self starter and excellent team player

Nice to Have

Experience with other IDP platforms (ex: Microsoft Entra)

Experience with administering, supporting other major enterprise tools (ex: Google, Office 365, Zoom, Adobe)

Compensation

Base pay: $55,000 - $90,000

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
