The Team:
The IT Business Apps team is a young team of product aficionados and customer value enthusiasts. Newly formed in 2023, this team is all about building value-driving solutions for IT departments, focusing on driving System Transformation and enhancing the IT Service Management process.
The Role:
As an Application Product Manager for System Transformation, you will be working on one of the strategic priorities for Celonis: helping our customers use the power of Process Intelligence to drive digital transformations. As customers move from legacy, on-premise ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning software) to cloud-based solutions, our platform is used to mitigate risks and ensure processes continue to run smoothly during and after the migration.
As a member of the IT Business Apps team, you will have the opportunity to innovate new products from the ground up. You will work hands-on with customers, understanding their pain points to develop and execute on a product roadmap that addresses those pain points. You will become the end-to-end product owner for one or more applications in our IT Business Apps offering.
The work you’ll do:
- Work closely with customers to understand their pain points around IT Transformations and discover new value-driving solutions
- Be involved in all steps within the product development lifecycle from ideation to product development to scaling solutions across all Celonis customers
- Use the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform hands-on to develop new, innovative solutions in the area of IT Business Apps
- Collaborate with platform product managers and engineers to guide and influence feature development for the Celonis platform
- Work together with our UX team to define the user experience for our products
- Build a knowledge base of objectives, key metrics, common inefficiencies and value opportunities for IT departments and distribute knowledge throughout the organization. This knowledge base will drive the development of new products.
The qualifications you need:
- 4+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Implementation Consulting, Business Analytics or Application Product Management
- Expert in data analysis including with tools native to the Celonis platform: SQL, PQL and Python
- Experience with SAP (ECC, S4) or Oracle (EBS, PeopleSoft, Fusion) is required
- Experience with IT Transformation projects is a plus
- Project management experience and excellent planning and organizational skills
- Creativity in problem solving, solution-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently and collaborate well within and outside the team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to work very closely with customers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
