The role
As an AI Research Intern, your mandate is to research agentic AI use cases for customer facing product features and develop a working prototype. This role will impact One’s vision by providing remarkable customer experience, driving positive business outcomes and improving operational efficiency. You will work closely with the product, engineering and applied science team(s) working across all business units. This role reports to the Head of AI/ML.
This role is responsible for:

You bring
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, operations research, applied math, stats, physics, or related technical field
Prior experience with text and image data
Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts

Bonus qualification: Completed a course or worked on a project related to Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI.

Leveling Philosophy
In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at One. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within One.
