Job Description
The AGV Programmer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining AGV systems at our clients’ automotive plants throughout Europe. This role requires regular travel to various locations, providing on-site support and ensuring optimal performance of our AGV solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and program AGV systems to meet the specific needs of automotive manufacturing environments.
- Conduct site assessments to determine AGV requirements and configurations.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to design and deploy AGV solutions.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure seamless operation.
- Provide training and technical support to plant personnel on AGV usage and maintenance.
- Regularly travel to various automotive plants across Europe for on-site implementation and support.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AGV technology and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in programming and implementing AGV systems.
- Strong knowledge of automation, robotics, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
