Account Executive, Public Sector, Germany

Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, Business Development, Transformation, and Technology Partnerships all work together to demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world.

Our mission is to secure high profile public/government accounts and help grow business in a newly formed specialised team. Your role is hybrid and remote-friendly. Reporting to the Regional Director, Public Sector CEUR, your and the teams path to success in this position includes the following:

  • You will become a trusted advisor to prospect accounts and existing customers, showcasing expertise and empathy.
  • You link Zscaler's leading technology to solid business cases.
  • You collaborate with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Value Consulting and Transformation Teams throughout your sales cycles.
  • You create opportunities, using creative ideas and new techniques, tools, joint field marketing projects, trade shows, and partners.
  • You win deals through world-class planning and preparation, being consultative in your approach to solving business problems.

What we are looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of experience working with enterprise technology in the public sector
  • Experience with complex sales cycles
  • Affinity for software and IT security
  • Net new logo accomplishments and value selling experience
  • Passionate focus on Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Progression; including thoughtful planning and preparation.
  • German language skills, due to the accounts managed.

  • Desire to be coached and a structured approach to work with a structured sales process.
  • Experience collaborating with other departments, partners, and team members to be successful.
  • An 'in the field' mentality leading you to meet customers and prospects face-to-face wherever possible.
