Account Executive, Enterprise

About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Account Executive (AE) to join our high-growth team and spearhead Fivetran's expansion into the exciting New Zealand market. As an AE, you'll play a pivotal role in building relationships with potential and existing customers, understanding their data integration needs, and championing Fivetran as the solution. You'll be responsible for driving pipeline creation, managing the sales cycle from start to finish, and exceeding quota.

We're looking for a driven and ambitious salesperson with a deep understanding of data to join our New Zealand team. You're an experienced relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can navigate complex sales conversations. Ideally, you have experience in the New Zealand market and a proven track record of exceeding quotas in B2B SaaS, especially data integration or enterprise software.

This is a full-time position based out of Auckland, New Zealand.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and qualify leads to identify high-growth opportunities in the New Zealand market
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges related to data integration
  • Deliver engaging product demos and presentations that showcase the value proposition of Fivetran
  • Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate win-win deals
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and champions within target accounts
  • Exceed assigned sales quotas and achieve ambitious targets
  • Work alongside System Integrator and Technology partners to champion the Modern Data Stack and win business together
Skills We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of enterprise sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment (preferably data integration or enterprise software)
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving ambitious targets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • A deep understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to effectively manage the pipeline
  • The ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex sales conversations
  • A data-driven mindset and a passion for understanding customer challenges
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Optional Bonus Skills

  • Experience selling into the New Zealand market
  • Proven experience in data integration or related fields
  • A strong understanding of cloud computing and data warehousing concepts
