We are looking to add an Account Executive, Corporate Markets to our team in the UK!  

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:  

  • Prospect qualification, development and execution of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams. While this role has the support of a Lead Generation Team, our Account Executives for the corporate market generate 60% of their pipeline themselves and drive 1.5x growth in existing accounts.

  • Responsible for driving sales across UK and Europe in Rescale’s corporate market (enterprises of less than $1B turnover).  Develop a territory plan and execute sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual quotas. Our Account Executives in the corporate market  onboard as many as 10 new customers a quarter and process up to 20 orders from existing customers.  20-40% of this business is managed with partners in Europe.  There is an annual target of $1M (uncapped).

  • Engage and provide sales consulting to engineers, IT specialists and senior business leaders to influence investment in the Rescale technology.  You will execute meetings with relevant stakeholders to establish trust using presentations and product demonstrations and drive opportunities in Rescale’s corporate market .

  • Coordinate activities with other organizations within the company required to execute Territory and Account Plans (e.g. marketing and business development). Entrepreneurial self-starters flourish here. 

  • Work with our partners on joint opportunities and leverage our partnerships.

  • Attend meetings with UK-based colleagues

  • Provide accurate forecasts on a regular basis as well as other information as required. You will forecast weekly your commit, most likely, best case and pipeline numbers to provide transparency of our activities.

Key Qualifications include:

  • A background or education in engineering or related R&D.

  • 2+ years experience selling and developing business in complex technical products.

  • CRM system experience (i.e. Salesforce).

  • Advanced problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to build one-on-one relationships with customers and identify their business needs. 

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills; multi-lingual speaking skills are a plus!

  • Advanced negotiation skills. Naturally persuasive and persistent to achieve goals.

  • Strong desire to grow your sales career in a technical environment

  • General computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the G Suite of products.

  • Based in the United Kingdom
