We need an English-fluent Backend Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for email marketing campaigns, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend solutions with other systems and platforms.
- Optimize and enhance existing backend infrastructure to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Work closely with marketing teams to understand campaign requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, addressing any issues to ensure uninterrupted campaign execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve backend processes.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Strong experience in backend development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby and Go.
- Experience with Typescript, Javascript, Vue and SQL.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and related technologies is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to design and build scalable systems in a production environment.
- Experience with database management, API development, and system integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $1,200 - $1,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
