598 - Video Editor (Animator)

We need an English-fluent Video Editor (Animator), based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Create custom animation videos illustrating product functionalities, including conceptualizing and designing animations where UI is not present.
• Develop product launch keynotes, integrating live camera footage with dynamic screen elements such as animated text and icons.
• Edit and enhance interview videos, ensuring seamless transitions and high-quality audiovisual outputs.
• Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into visually compelling animations and videos.
• Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality animations and edited videos.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in animation, video editing, and presentation design.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a video editor (Animator). 
• Experience in B2B environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Figma, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of animation principles and design aesthetics.
• Experience in video post-production processes.
• Ability to create visually appealing Keynote presentations with a focus on storytelling through visuals.
• Portfolio demonstrating expertise in animation, video editing, and presentation design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

It's a plus:

• Previous experience in software companies.
• Familiarity with podcast editing tools and techniques.
• Degree in Animation, Film Production, Multimedia Design, or related field.
